George
After qualifying in sports massage therapy in September 2018, I started ‘George Himan Massage & Recovery’. Working alongside my teaching job, I travelled around Leicestershire most evenings-helping people at their homes. In September 2020, I opened my studio in the heart of Leicester City Centre. A spacious, comfortable environment that provides a unique sports massage experience.
I also hold qualifications in myofascial cupping (both fire and dry) as well as spinal manipulation. I tailor sessions for each individual and clients have the freedom to include all or only some of these services I offer.
My clients come from all walks of life with very individual needs. Whether you have a specific injury, work related stress or other medical issues, the benefits of sports massage are vast and I pride myself in providing an honest assessment and guidance to help people to feel and function better. Sports massage is not just for sporting injury. I treat many people who have no sporting background and are suffering because of day to day habits and activities.”
I welcome anybody to get in touch for a free phone consultation on how my service could help you.

My journey into sports massage therapy started with my own experience of long-term pain following a gym injury in 2013. Years of stiffness, tension, and frustration led me to explore countless treatments, but I eventually realised real change had to come from within.

Driven by personal interest, I began studying anatomy, experimenting with movement, and helping friends and family, eventually qualifying as a Sports Massage Therapist.

This work is personal. I understand how pain can affect daily life, and I aim to offer both effective treatment and genuine care to help people move better and feel more in control of their bodies.

Who is the dog? This is Annie, George's family dog that spends time in the studio. She is hypo-allergenic and is a friendly addition to the studio. If you have concerns, please get in touch. There are days when she won't be in the studio.
